GOOD EVENING JAMIE, OR SHOULD I SAY GOOD MORNING TO YOU? I HOPE THAT YOU ARE FEELING WELL TODAY AND ENJOYING THE DAY TOO. HOW IS YOUR WEATHER? IT IS RAINING RIGHT NOW, BUT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY. MANY BEAUTIFUL COLORS IN THE TREES TO LOOK AT. I FEEL FORTUNATE TO HAVE THAT HERE.

Good morning All!!!

It is raining here today, but the rich and vibrant colors of the trees makes up for that. It is nice being in and looking out. Getting a little colder here.

I love autumn. It is my favorite season. I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Let us know how it is going.

Just 'touching base'

Came back from feeding my fox. There really are TWO of them, but one fellow keeps coming earlier and earlier each evening to get the best offering.

Yesterday, he (she) was sitting at the edge of the driveway...looking at the door...waiting for the 'waitress' to arrive.

They are fun, and getting more comfortable around me. Come about six to ten feet away while waiting for dinner to be served.

p.s. Trinia...never tried a 'juicer'...and never plan to. Sorry to be such a negative...I'd rather just 'eat' the stuff.

I see you are up with the chickens again. Or maybe the foxes. I wonder if you can get a photo of them. I had a family of them move in. There were babies too. They were adorable.

I hear we have a badger living in the culvert. I am hoping it isn't true. I walk by there everyday.

Hi Karen, yes I remember you told us about your foxes. I wonder if we will see babies here.
Badgers we don't have here (that I know of, anyway). A groundhog does burrow near our culvert. He's had a small confrontation with one of the foxes...but nothing serious

I don't have a camera, unfortunately. Last one I had was a '49 polaroid. Still in the dark ages, I guess.

Yes, I'm enjoying getting up early. Silence...all to myself...except tending to those furbaby cats.

Squirrel Away!

To keep squirrels from eating your plants,

sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper.

The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant

and the squirrels won't come near it.

 

It also works with rabbits,

but add a few drops of dish washing liquid

so the mix will adhere to the leafage;

(also, it must be reapplied periodically

because the rain will wash it away)

Having quite a time on this Healing Well site recently.

Every day my security (Norton) keeps blocking because of a virus (identified as Fake AV). Anyone else having this happen?

Am going to try to post my Scramble word game now. Hope I can get it up and running !

I have had a lot of internet threats lately. I have AGV and it is blocking them. AvG is free if you ever want to try it. I have had good success with it. I hope you get rid of the virus Joyce and I hope you are ablt to get word scramble up. Have a good day my friend. It is raining here, cold and damp. October weather.

Nice day here right now, 80's yesterday...but tomorrow is supposed to be the pitts...CCCCoooold, and rainy.

I think that it is avg. The basic protection is free. Sometimes you have to hunt for the free one. But there is one and it is good. I hope that you can acquire it.

Raining here today. Just plain nasty. I hope it clears up. Will be working on my wine today, got to syphen it into smaller jugs to finish working off. It is very good grape wine though. I was surprised.
