It is hard when you have a fire. They saved the building, but every thing in it was a loss. There are so many things I can't find because of the fire. I just figure that they were ruined. The water damage was bad. They broke my cradenza. And a lot of my glassware. Crystal and antique dishes. But they did save the building. So that was good. We are only three blocks from the fire department but it still took them 45 minutes to get here. The building is a log building, I was so worried about losing it. But we didn't.

Got to get dressed and do something. I am lazy on this Sunday... I usually don't do much on this day though.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Just woke up. Slept the entire night and day. Not feeling up to par since Friday... Not sure what's going on with me.

Joyce: my neck seems better since I've been lying down most of the weekend. But when I'm up, the pain starts back. Think I may have to visit a doctor to see about it sometime soon. Anyway, I'm sorry you're going through a hard time. I hope things improve for you soon.

Karen: the fire sounded scary. It must of been a really hard time for you especially losing all those things. It's really tough when you work hard to get something and then it's destroyed suddenly. Glad the fire didn't spread to the house Joyce.

Jamie: Hope you feel better and get some rest.

It's a very cold day here today. Apparently it's been raining since yesterday morning.

SEEN THE THERAPIST TODAY, HAD AN EXCELLENT SESSION.
HE STATES THAT THIS PERIOD OF WELLNESS IS VERY EXCITING
FOR ME, AND THAT I AM THE MOST STABLE HE HAS SEEN ME IN
ALMOST A YEAR!!! FURTHERMORE I AM GOING TO ADVISE MY
SHRINK ON FRIDAY THAT THE SLEEP REGIME PROGRAM IS
NOT WORKING AND THAT I JUST WANT TO TAKE MY SEROQUEL
EVERY NIGHT AND NO LONGER ALTERNATING. MY THERAPIST
AGREES. AM BUSY, STILL A TAD ILL AND VERY EXHAUSTED.

Yes, I've had that 'groaner' on hold for a long time.  Wanted to wait 'till the holiday season was nearby.

Mentioned that I've had some problems.  Perhaps time to get them in black and white...not necessarily in degree of difficulty order

Son - problems with 16 year old daughter.

Granddaughter called police

Guns confiscated

Son sent to psych hospital for evaluation

Son released, in required counseling

Husband - mental ability declining

Left burner on the stove overnight

Left lights on

Left computer on

Email hacked

Friends receiving junk

Trying to solve situation

(Changed email password)

Fox - missing since Thanksgiving

(Deer hunting has started)

Computer - about to collapse

Business - slowed

(down 30% from last year)

I could go on and on...but think that's enough off my chest for now.

My gosh Joyce, you sure have a lot going on. Know that we are all here for you and vent anytime. It helps to get it out and discuss it.

I am so sorry about your husband's health. I am wondering if I am going to be in the same position. In time...

I had my email hacked before too. Sent spam to everybody that I had as a contact. I couldn't get it right so I ended up opening a new account. I hate when that happens. Everybody though I was cracking up with the spam that they got. I coudn't get it though their heads it wasn't me... Finally they understood.

Have you thought about getting a ram chip? Or are you going to get a new computer? It might save you a lot of hassle. I got a ram chip for mine and it sped up a lot. I finally sold the computer though when I got my new one. Windows 8 is out now. I have windows 7. But that is okay. The new computers don't take up much space because there is no tower. It is all in the monitor.

I would send you an ecard, but something happened and I cant' send them anymore. They wanted a password, and I didn't know what it was as it was a gift to me. Then they told me how to get my computer to allow it, but I coudlnt' figure that out. Oh well...

Sorry to hear all that you're going through Joyce.

I hope things improve for you soon. Hang in there and stay positive my friend.
Just think of this phase as a challenge you need to surpass. Things will definitely get better in a timing.

UA, you're right...this is a challenge, but I thought old age was going to be more peaceful.

It often does change the way we feel. I keep a perm in my hair all the time. I look mousy without it.

I will start a new chapter Joyce, thanks for reminding me. My internet keeps going out. I don't know what is up with that. It was out for over four hours earlier. The ram chips are around fifty bucks I think, but that is better than 1000 for a new one. Though with the upgrading they are doing, things become obsolete fast...
