Maybe that is something that you can work on while she is working on getting better. You will both become stronger together. Learn that people are still there, even if they don't constantly remind you of that. Just having somebody else in the room can be enough. Or knowing that they care without being told. Or shown. When people are depressed, they tend to dwell on themselves. Allow her to do that. She will open up to you in time. Keep the faith.
