Hi all-

I hope everyone had a marvelous, productive Monday. I myself am in count down mode- 4 more days until I am off for 2 weeks. I love the kids I teach but oh my, they need a couple of weeks away from school.

All of Christmas is ordered online and is coming in little by little each day. I love wrapping presents and making bows.

I hope everyone has a lovely evening. I have to go get my son from drivers ed in a bit and then I think I will crochet a bit.

This has been the worst Christmas I have ever had. My cat died. My dog may have to be euthanized. Both my husband and I have no jobs and my colorectal surgeon now tells me I may have disease in one of my remaining abdominal organs. I tried making everyone's Christmas gifts but they look horrible. I am not an arts and crafts kind of girl. I worked day and night on them for two weeks. My hands are just too clumsy.
I have been avoiding all of my friends because I do not want anyone to know how horrible everything is. I don't want pity and I don't want to be looked down on. My best friend just got a mercedes from her husband as an early Christmas gift.
It makes me mad. She has four children in college on scholarships. Those poor kids could have used the money instead of taking out huge college loans.
I hate the lack of national health care in America. I need a psychologist with great CBT training. Instead I am stuck with surgeons I can barely afford. I hate my life. I pray 2013 is better. I am just so tired of always trying to be the optimist and fighting to overcome all obstacles.
I don't understand how I could have done everything "right" in my life and ended up with no financial security at all. My health bills and my husbands four years of unemployment has wiped practically everything out. I am very scared of what horrible thing will happen next.
I am soooo tired of trying to make things better.

I hope that you get your computer fixed with no problems. Are you getting the ram chip? That really does help to speed things up. And not hard to install.

Well.... no 'work' on my computer yesterday. My son (and computer fixer upper) had his hands full of child care and holiday prep.

It's lasted this long... guess it will wait 'till January.

No Karen, haven't had a ram installed yet, but that is on my question list for son when he does check things out for me. I know there is not enough memory.... so that certainly would help and MAY be the only problem this computer has.

BRRRRRRR.. a cold front blew in over night- it came with such force that it knocked the power out for a while.
