I have delt with daily paid since 2006. It is not easy. People that don't find it hard to understand. those that love us, want us back to "normal" so they try to help.
I have found that meditation and mindfulness help in reducing the pain levels on a daily basis. Sure I have my awful days, but for the most part, my depression is minor and I do ok with pain.
Do some research and see what you find and if it helps you. Both methods help you live in the present moment, not in the past or future, a lot less worry on your mind. Accepting things as they are, accepting you as you are.
