hi guys,

sorry i have been missing in action, did you miss me? been having massive problems with the nocturia, was up for 24 hours straight a few days ago, plus i had to go to my therapist and chemist as well. i did clean during the 24 hours, but boy was i wrecked. when i got back i slept for nine hours, missed 3 lots of insulin and my daily medication. boy i was shattered. i have since sorted out my lamictal, so that is good. today i cleaned up, picked my lamictal, hang washing on the line and finally brought my bins in.

i thought i would start a new thread, the old one was getting long in the tooth. i am since doing somewhat better. still have a lot on my plate though. i will try and post a little. but i am still wrecked. i see my doctor on the 16th, i will let you know how it goes. okay enough for now. do know that i miss you guys and think of you every day. take care and i will see you soon, i hope.

Wow it is no wonder you crashed Jamie. I do hope you are feeling better soon.
Sure do wish the docs could do more for you.

am still not right. have not done much lately. am feeling like.....
oh well. got so much going on. i will be right though. am still scattered and very tired. am soldering on as i must. just walking my dog and keeping the house tidy is an effort, but i will get there. take care.

oh, i am tired. even though i don't see my shrink till i get from holidays i think i will call for a quick consult. also i need some paperwork done on a scheduled drug for my trip as well. am still struggling but fighting. if i could swear about now...................
well you get the picture. am still scattered but this will pass when the nocturia problem is fixed and it needs fixing immediately. oh well, as i say to myself and you all, of which your probably sick of is that 'slow and steady wins the race'. but i need to up the pace soon. well take care everyone. much love to all.

Thanks for the update. And we're definitely not sick of hearing 'slow and steady wins the race'. I'm glad that you have a motto that works for you. Hang on to it :-) Stay positive!

sorry i have been missing in action again. busted a cord, had to buy a new one. so all is okay for now. a bit of an update. firstly i missed you all and i hope all is well. mentally i a bit up ad down, and yes extremely tired. seen my doc this morning, and we are increasing the nocturia drug over the next two weeks. i have the majority of all my medical travel documents done, letter to the airline regarding my medications, walking stick and my insulin/ diabetes etc. it has been a long day, still more to do. i am taking some time in late june to go overseas for 5 weeks, and boy do i need it!!! have never been o/s before so this will be exciting.

i have more funds to find, travel insurance to pay, get a suitcase, etc, etc. i can't devolge my trip, it is a secret. have some more bloods to do to check on 1 more medical issue befor i go, and get some paperwork of my shrink, yeah etc, etc. yes my motto, jamie has one!! 'slow and steady wins the race'. not too slow though. sorry for boring you all. i have missed you guys. hope fully the increase in the nocturia pill helps. okay i will say see you later. much love to all.

the increase in the nocturia drug did the trick last night. i slept for 6 hours straight before going to the toilet, yay!!!! then i did my daily meds and went back to sleep for another 6 hours, i feel much better for it!!! this nocturia and severe insomnia has taken it's toll on me over the years, i hope i am refreshed a little before i go away. mentally feel good this evening. been out to the shops and finally walked my fur-ball. let's hope this good sleep continues. i am certainly going to catch up on it!! much love to all,
