I just wish things were different I miss being around my family? What you think did think my mom would ever want to see me again or should I not even try as she did fraud my name. I miss My twin so bad I have a few pics of my sister on my phone but I just want to cry I just want to give her a  hug and kiss again. What should I do on my birthday celebrate it alone? I just wish things were the same I want my family but they don't want me cry   Alexis

Oh Lexi-

I feel your pain. My mom isn't in my life either. Even though she is a toxic person, I miss her because she is my mom. I have had a hard time for 2 years accepting her absence (hence my depression and counseling sessions). But it was her choice. She knows where I am if she ever wants to contact me again. Sadly, it is up to her not me.

Some days are so hard and I think about her all the time. Other days, she never enters my mind. Sometimes I feel guilty that I haven't thought about her in a couple of days.

We have to hang in there and realize that we aren't the bad people. There is still hope for your family and mine to reconnect. We just have to have the patience to wait and pray.

Thanks Carl,

I just missing be with her as she a big part of my life she is my bestfriend. When I was going to get married I wanted her be my maid of Honor. But my ex fiance and I have recentley split in  2010. We we were 1 year and 18months. I also miss my ex some times as we cuddled alot together we loved that too. I just wish I had someone to cuddle at night tooo I loved sleeping next to the man I once loved with all my heart. Alexis

Its just a daughter and mother things we did my mom was there  or when I needed to talk and I think its my fault for  what I did by calling the cops on her for frauded me. My Family don't want me which breaks my heart. Alexis

Hey Alexis,

Sorry about how you've been feeling. Carl is right. You never know what will happen in the future. Maybe she'll surprise you and you'll get to see her. If not, you should still have a good birthday by doing something nice for yourself. You deserve it.

I know things could change but I donn't think anything will happen as she listen to my older sister that she lives with like she is a puppet on a string just waiting and listening to them yell at her if something goes wrong they yell at her. I feel for her she cried the last time saying How much she missed me and wishes we could spend time together. Alexis sad

I know the deep sad feeling you are sitting with. However, there is not much you or I can do about each others situation is there?

Our choices are to be in toxic relationships and be hurts continually or miss the family and get on with our lives. I will take the latter, thank you. I choice to practice self-love. You will too in time. IT has taken me 2 years to get to this choice and it still hurts.

I am stronger for the choices I have made Alexis and you will be too. You have already grown by leaps and bounds on this forum alone.

As for celebrating your birthday, you can celebrate with a friend or by yourself. Some of my best birthdays were by myself, doing something just for me! There is no shame in being alone on that day.

Stay as strong as you are, you can move forward.

I know right now, your birthday is a special day and you want to celebrate it with your sister. September is a few months off yet (3)... You never know what is going to happen in three months time. Try to be happy. Pray that your sister will be with you on that special day...

I know 3 months its is till my birthday. If I don't celebrate it will her I just hope she knows how much I love her if something happened to her I would love to know I just wish she would buy a cellphone. and could call and tell me how she is doing. Alexis
