Lexapro Charlie again

Hi, 12th day, most side effects are gone, except for the lack of sleep, I hope that passes.

The question is that i'm feeling kinda weird, like I'm halfway from my old depressed life, if I can say, and halfway from what's to come. Hard to explain. Does that make sense? without being uncomfortable it is not comfortable either. Stuck in the middle somewhere. Is that the lexapro kicking in? Normal?  need reassurance.

Hi Charlie,

good to hear from you. Most like what you are experiencing is the uncomfortable feeling of "change".

for so long, you felt down and in the dark, now the meds are working and you are getting back to likeing yourself and things you use to do. So it will feel weird for awhile. Try not to let it scare you. Face that fear down!

This is very normal.

Thanks Trina and Carl, great answers as usual. Printing that again to keep it nearby, to reassure me when I get a bit uneasy. I like the expression " Uncomfortable feeling of change" it describes it pretty well.

By the way, it's Cipralex, I thought this was an american forum, and they go by the name of lexapro.
