Hi Guys

I AM still alive, holding on to a very frayed rope. Have not left house or answered a phone in several months...saw a new shrink yesterday, he's full speed ahead on changing meds (1 at a time)...like him...sorry if I worried y'all...but I missed you and I could really use some friends again. Hubby has full blown RA and has stage 3 Hep c (also called end stagr liver disease)

He has picked up so much of the work at home and now it is my turn-how can I do that when my exercise is moving from my bed 2 feet to my chair-LOL!! Pat calls it "the BIG Move".

I did not see Joyce here but lotsa other olf friends, so I send healing thoughts to all of you

Hey Mags,

Awesome to see you post!!! Joyce is going to be gone for a little while, but she will be back. Maybe shoot her an email, I think I might.

I hope that he new psychiatrist works out. I hope that the change of meds works out for you too. Sometimes we have to do that to feel better.

Try to get out for a little walk with the dogs maybe. I walked Jasmine today. It does us both good.

Afternoon, all! Hope everyone is having a good day!

It's going to be another yucky weekend here. I don't know what it is about weekends but my husband slips into grumpy, silent treatment guy. My best friend and I are going to go see Wolverine, so I have something to distract me.

In other news, Bernie the cat has become an escape artist. You have to play defense every time you open the door. He's very sweet and lovable but he tries to make friends with other animals outside, including a very mean dog. I barely saved him from being a chew toy.

Hi Gizzy'n me, Karen, AV, cody, Lisa, anyone I missed...

Had my appointment with the Ortho today. He told me I'm very weak and 70lbs underweight. He gave me the option of going to physio or doing exercises at home and start walking, cycling and swimming to build up my strength and ease my pain. I opted for doing exercises at home.

Hi UA,

I find it easier to do those things at home too. The doc wanted me to go to pt, but I am not very good at showing up for that many appointments. So I am getting better at home too.

The movie was good. I've always been a comic book nerd. Lol unfortunately, I got lots of pain in my back and my knees from lifting the couch. It hurts so much that I can't stand straight and my knees start to give out on me after a few feet. I was sorry for my friend. It had to be embarrassing walking with me while I have to take frequent stops and walking like a need a walker.

A late good morning to all .........

   Giz and I had our daily drive a little later than normal - 56 degrees out (mightly chilly for July) - only one dog spotted. Giz gave a great long howl though for the big black dog (not sure what kind it was) ... but the sun is out!!!!!! Yaaay!!!!!

   Wrote a couple of long replies on the Prostate Cancer segment this morning - been a while for that! And my youngest daughter is coming over to hitch a ride for us to go down to see my oldest daughter and two grandaughters today - cool!!!! It's been at least 5 or 6-years (college days) since my youngest and I have ridden together ...... it should be a really good Sunday.

   Hope all of yours is too!!!!

Unusually chilly for July where I live.

Going to do some laundry and chores and watch some movies I rented from Redbox. Anyone seen Safe Haven and Steele Magnolias? Heard they were both great movies.

Oh Lisa, Michele is right.
I read the book Safe Haven and then waited for the movie to come out for month. My boyfriend was nice enough to carry me to see it on Valentine's Day.
Haven't seen Steele Magnolias though.

I'm heading to get ready to go visit dad.

hi guys. the sun is out a little. with yesterday being sunday i took a mental health day. today i am fluffing around. got clothes to get of the line and wash some more. must walk the fur -ball soon, am still getting my act together and have made a strong coffee. things to do as usual. have a great day my friends. take care.

therapy was torture yesterday and today is the fall out! Thank goodness for PRN meds and journals!

been a long day!! did 2 loads of washing, got clothes of the line, it was a lovely day here. kind of lucky really as we are in winter. a toxic mate came over today and i wasn't in the mood. my mate who is staying with me spoke to him instead, and he wanted to talk to him for once, so that was a -ok with me. cleaned up, walked the fur-ball had a visit from my neighbour and her dogs as well. did my dishes and put linen away. i am stuffed. hope all is well with everybody. take care my dear friends.

Well, it's 4:14 AM and I am wide awake. I am a morning person but this is ridiculous! Guess I will have a cup of coffee and clean the house!

Counseling this morning. And then class this afternoon. And possibly a nap in between!

dogs had me up at 4:45am today. We have a birds nest by the back door in a watering can that I left on the grill. With all the rain, I have not used it this year. A sparrow decided to.

So today is better thanks guys. This healing journey gets bumby sometimes doesn't it?

Off to make coffee and breakfast for me, already fed the hounds.

Good morning all!!! I slept until six this morning. That is kind of sleeping in for me... I am usually up around five or so. But stayed up late last night watching the tube...

I hope all of you have a good day. It rained here for three days, I don't know what is in store for today.

hi my early birdies!!! good to see you michele. hope all goes well with your session. hi trina. hope all is well. glad you got a sleep in karen. me had a rough day / night but i will be okay. need my space back, if you know what i mean!! he is finally leaving tomorrow. about time. he was rather obnoxious today. i let him know that this is my home and not his!!! had the toxic one here as well and he was a pain in the butt as well. i have had enough of them. thus i cracked it. sorry for the vent.
