i called in sick to work because i just didn't feel like going there today. i have been at loose ends most of today. not much to do but sleep, which i have done a lot of.
one good thing is that i got my daily reader for a 12 step program i am in.
i just wanted to check in and say i am here and not doing well.
thanks for listening,

Hi. I'm sorry to hear you aren't doing well today. I just signed up on this website today because I deal with chronic headaches, and anxiety/depression that go along with that.
My advice to you is just keep going. Even when you feel like you can't do something, you can. Even the smallest things such as getting out of bed and putting clothes on/ brushing your teeth is a step. Don't give up and don't stop "doing things" even if it feels impossible.
It's ok that you didn't feel like going to work. Don't blame yourself for the way you feel. Tomorrow can be better, keep your head up.
Sorry I'm not the best with words, but I hope you continue your day with even the smallest tasks to keep you going. You'll feel better and probably not even realize it at first. Best of luck!

Welcome Chelsea to our forum!
Display I am glad you received a daily reader. Positive input every day helps us in the long run. You do not notice it, until one day you wake up in a better mood.
Keep up the hard work, reaching out to the forum was a very positive thing to do! Nothing wrong with taking a mental health day from work either!
Peace and courage

Happens sometimes. We feel like doing nothing and staying alone. Break from work at regular intervals is also essential to feel more refreshed.
