YEAH I KNOW ALL about DENTISTS!! HAD THEM ALL REMOVED!! FEEL BETTER SOON UA. HI YA KAREN AND YOU ALL. I AM TRYING MY BEST TO POST. TAKE CARE MY HEALINGWELL BUDDIES.

Good morning all ..........

   It looks like another hot and humid one .... but .... my 4-legged barometer tells me "there's a storm brewing"!!! He followed me up to the computer this morning and promptly went under my desk. "Hey - buddy - there isn't room for both you and my legs under there"!

   This mornings drive was a good one. Giz saw 5-dogs ... the usual pair of Pyranees, a pair of chihuahuas and one (I think) toy poodle. Gizzy cleared his throat many times this morning! And whatever he had yesterday morning seems to be gone now ... Giz seems top be feeling good!

   Well ... time to google an address ... for a new doctor - for a second opinion. Shoot ... wish he wasn't a 60-mile round trip!

Hope everyone is OK ... survives the late Summer heat or the cold Spring!

Oh, no UA! Noooooo! That's awful. Get in soon, sweetie. I hate mouth pain! Not much you can do when the nerve is exposed.

Dentist today for me, getting a bridge put in. Then laundry. We don't have a washer, so I go to the laundramat. Lugging clothes around isn't great fun, but it's nice to have them done. I always break my diet and get a milkshake after the dentist.

Mags, Chartreux, whomever else I have missed, BKNOT, make it a great day!

WELL, IT SEEMS TO BE DENTAL FREAKOUT WEEK FOR THE FORUM. sO SORRY TO THOSE IN PAIN, DENTAL OR OTHERWISE.

HUBBY'S RA FOOT PAIN IS THRU THE ROOF-I FEEL SO HELPLESS. WE ARE GOING FOR SECOND OPINION...PERCOCET HELP BUT STILL BAD.

I AM OFF TO MY PAIN DOC, SAME OLD PEE TEST AND script...JUST A LONG DRIVE

OK-NO MORE CAPS ....I HOPE ALL FIND PAIN RELIEF TODAY

Sorry about the hubbie's pain, Mags. Saw some stuff on a weather map heading your way. We are in the midst of mini-heat wave here, with higher humidity.

Think it is going to rain here today but it is a lot cooler than yesterday, nice...

I have to go to the Laundromat too Myself, but the good thing is you get it all done at once, until the next time. I go in with loads. All day job. I don't go often enough.

My condolences Ms Myself!! Been down that road many times...and no insurance?? Yikes! I don't guess you want to have it pulled? Roots cost alot and then eventually they get "crowned" .

Back from the doc...they finall;y approved my provigil script so we shall see. If I start rambling on, we'll know it's working-lol

They had just constructed a bridge for me, were supposed to put it in today, and one of the teeth they filed got nerve exposed. Also, already missing a tooth back there. -sigh-

The good thing is I have CareCredit, a credit card specially for medical expenses. I got it years ago when one of my cats got diabetes. Also, the nice ladies working at scheduling turned me onto a dental program that for a yearly payment of 30 bucks fixes prices for cleaning, cavities, exrays, and give you percentages off on major things. It's worth it, so when I sign up for Universal Care I don't have to deal with the dental requirement.

Let's hope the provigil helps!

Wow-that sounds great! I am glad you have that.

Well, is the provigil working?  I just started cleaning my closet shelf which I have not touched for 2 years!! Winter clothes I forgot about blankets-like a little treasure hunt-I think it's working-lol.

Hope your pain is manageable...and no infection.

Yes, tune into HW for "One Tooth to live", "Days of our Teeth" and "All My Teeth"-lol...I remember in college being hooked on Days of Our Lives and scheduling classes around it.

Alright, back to manic cleaning

Happy cleaning, but don't over do it. That is so easy to do when you acquire a little bit of energy, believe me, I do it a lot. Pace yourself. But I am so happy for you Magpie. I hope that the Provigil continues to work for you.

I am glad you are getting your teeth worked on. I got dentures in my 30's so I haven't had much problems. I am glad, I had the worst teeth.

Hey Karen

I know, we always want to overdo it when we get some energy....the house was totalled from us (mainly hub) painting my room. I just got in my new comforter and dust ruffle, all lovely blues and yellows and my hub just assembled my corner bookcase (more room for dust collectors)..so my room is lovely, happy and serene for my new lease on life...I think cymbalta may just be the one..I can't believe it! I'm scared if I blink, it will all disappear...that old depressive thinking still tries to creep back in

But, I will kick its' BUTT-lol

I will have to learn to pace myself again, but what a good thing.

I am so happy for you that your current meds are working. Cymbalta is great, I have been on it for a year now and find it life giving.

I still have some down days but they are situational and don't last long.

You continue to inspire.

Ms M thanks for the support. Glad to hear your meds are working quite well...i am still having some random crying spells. I will take that over the numness I felt with effexor...I did not know how utterly unfeeling I had become til I weaned off.

Good morning all ............

   It kind of looks like my local Starbucks must be giving away coffee with a cinnamon roll ...... once again, there were at least 10-cars ahead of me and Giz in line ... and ... Gizzy is not too patient! I'm gonna miss those cinny rolls with the house blend!

   So, it was do a 180 ... and off to Dunkin Donuts. Gizzy was happy to be in a moving car ... but NO doggies ... until we were two blocks from home. The big boy Pyranees come thru again. Have the coyotes gobbled up all the little dogs? Hope not .... although (and seriously), last year one of my neighbors who had two yorkies and walked them all the time ... posted a picture of one of her dogs as being lost.

   And that was the same year that I found the feathery remains of one Canadian Goose in the early AM when walking my old Elkhound - within 20' of my front door. The Yorky was never found!

It was cooler here this morning ... hope everyone has gotten thru their dental horrors and were rewarded with  nice weather today.

I am clearly into repetition today.

Up late (durned sleeping drugs) and now at Wegmans to work for the day. I do better when I get out of the house. Checking in before I set to resumes. Then the gym, then some football. Making cauliflower crust pizza for dinner, which ain't bad but ain't pizza. Sending in all the paperwork to borrow money for my new root canal. The funny part was when the dentist tried to offer me painkillers, and I laughed...

Glad to hear of the new bedstuffs. Enjoy that contraband cinnamon roll for me.

What is cauliflower pizza? How do you make it? I have some burger and some green and red bell peppers, was thinking of making stuffed peppers, don't have much enthusiasm today though. We shall see how far I get. I didn't realize you have to blanch the peppers before you stuff them, maybe it keeps them together better. I am sick of cooking the same old food all the time, but not enthused enough to try something different. Come on cool weather, get me rolling... I am moving so slow.

I eat gluten-free now, for the crohns. Cauliflower-crust pizza is exactly what it sounds like. I add half a cup of almond meal to try to get some crunch. I use a bakinbg stone with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Thanks for the link. I have to eat a lot of vegies and I run out of ideas. I am thinking about juicing. But I like the crunch of the vegies, so I like to eat them. I will check out the link now...

Good morning all .........

   Yes indeed ........ a Canadian front came in overnight! Mighty chilly out there ... time to stoke up the gas furnace!!! It was a short ride today - only 20-minutes ... but 5 dogs were seen. Yep ... Gizzy was singin da blues ... sort of!

   Actually, this morning he was barking in a really annoying high-pitched bark at the dogs - instead of howling. Come on boy - let that wolf heritage come back out of you!

   Cauliflower pizza ?????

   Come on!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone. So happy it's Friday and I have NOTHING I have to do this weekend.
I'll take that cold air - it's still in the high upper 90s in Texas.

I had a good cry last night and finally told my husband I've been struggling and am considering going back on antidepressants. He went out and bought me some lovely dark chocolate.
