anger and depression

i have heard people say that depression is anger turned inwards.

last night i dealt with a situation that made me angry. my denture came loose while i was eating. i get very afraid and angry dealing with denture problems.

what really alarmed me last night about the anger is that i wanted to turn it on my sister who had just gotten home. i wanted her to get away from me, go into another room and just leave me alone to steep in my anger. this is not a healthy way to be.

this morning i took some of my anger out on cleaning the coffee pot. i'm hoping to find some other constructive ways of dealing with my anger.

I am glad that you are finding things to do to vent your anger. Constructive things, that is smart...

My girlfriend was talking to me the other day and her dentures fell out. She was so embarrassed. But we laughed about it. I wear them too. Mine fit pretty good. Do you use that gooey stuff that makes them stay in better? I did at first, but don't anymore.

Hang in there Display, you will get use to them hon. No more toothaches... That is the best part...

i no longer wear mine, the bottoms were always loose. and they hurt. i used the gooey stuff but i did not like it. anger, yeah, music or a brisk walk is good. i do hope you are feeling better display.
