hi guys, a bit of an update.

i was up all night again last night with acid reflux, and as the doc says it is worse when you try and lay down, i can atest to this!! so i was walking around a lot and sitting in my chair with a blanket most of the night. i had a few showers as this helped some. so i left real early and waited half an hour for the clinic to open. it is best dressed on the w/e as there are no appts. i was seen first, this was good.

i gave my doc the low down. he just nodded and gave a script for 40mg somac. he gets the savage type me and knew what hell i was going through. he has also given me a referal to a gastroenterologist to have the camera put down my gut, he wants to rule out G.O.R.D and associated conditions. the girls faxed it for me and i will ring up to make a time on monday. my doc reckons i should be seen under a month. my doc also noticed the crusty stuff on my eye lashes, here down under we call it sleep. i have been using saline, lucky he noticed it as it is conjunctivitus. he also gave me a script for some ointment as well.

i have taken some somac, i feel much better. i can still feel it a tad but nothing like before. i used some quick ease lozenges as well. i will see how it goes tonight. i am not to lay down before 2 hours after dinner as this starts it off, i have noticed this and eating later as well. talking about food it is time for a feed. maybe i can get just a little z's. the nocturia is still savage, we laughed about the urology at the hospital taking up to 16 months and this is for semi-urgent!!! please be soon. well i'd better go. take care my hw buddies. thanks ever so much for your kind words of support. i really appreciate it guys. see ya soon.

thanks guys, a little problem earlier this evening the acid-reflux came back with avengance, this was around 12.30am. i had no choice but to take an extra somac and drink heaps of water as well. i had pains especially down my left arm, i thought i was having a heart attack. it took 40mins to kick in. i awoke for the toilet around an hour later, then i awoke 2 hours later. i felt some discomfort but i was hungry so i had soup. i will await awhile before hitting the hay. very tired. at least i got a little bit of kip. better than a kick up the butt!!

i had some breakfast and soon after the burning has started again!!!! i am so jack of this. i have a coffee on the go. i hope this qwelches the fire. some numbness in left hand also.

aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggg!!! i wish this would go away!!!

sorry about ya computer karen. hope it gets sorted for you soon. basically it is same expletive different bucket with the acid-reflux and pains. been having chest pains and palpatations as well. not happy. i am not a happy turtle as i have not had a ciggie all day as well. i think the patch has upset my body as well. yes in the big throws of withdrawal. i did post in the progress thread so i will shut up!!

have a nice day. am feeling much better tonight. had a rough day with it though. i took a zan-tac earlier, probably not the best of ideas with the somac, but after some queziness i am much better. i have had my dinner early and my meds are done as well. hpefully i feel better again tomorrow.
