Is anyone out there on prozac with success

I have tried so many meds for my anxiety depression extreme fears and medical related PTSD none have worked currently tapering off viibryd onto prozac just looking for any similar situations

Hi Theresa!

Yes, I am on Prozac and I love it. It was added to my cocktail of drugs when things were really bad for me. I haven't gained any weight and the side effects were minimal.

Did you try other meds before prozac that didnt work? What else are you on if you don't mind me asking also how long did it take prozac to work please let me know. We're u ever at the point of not functioning? What do u suffer from

I was on Prozac. I loved it. It was taken well and side effects were hardly there. I had to come off of it due to the fact that it did increase my anxiety and mania episodes after a while.

My doctor now had me on Paxil and I am stable and after 7 years have had 3 bouts with anxiety when I used to have it daily.

How long did prozac take to work? Did other meds you tried fail? We're you ever not able to function

Give the prozac a good eight weeks to work. Be patient with it. I hope that it works for you.
