one of my passions is writing, and usually I write poems or sayings, songs, really just anything that's true and relatable for everyone else as well, its all very personal, but I hope maybe it might help a little bit for anyone who isn't having a "good depression day"
As debilitating as your struggle may be , do not surrender. We often let our struggles define us - rather than living with it , we choose to BE it . You have a choice though, although it may be lost among your thoughts , there is a tiny voice inside you begging for your attention , listen to it.

I have often been that person who keeps their eyes straight ahead with no means of exploring the path I was traveling. I have ignored natures sweet, silent ways of saying " this is why life is worth living " my mind has often explored the darkness that my demons lured me into. My soul withered away before I could comprehend what was happening to me. My heart was no longer beating to live, but merely just to make it through another day. Out of no where, within the silence that filled my mind I heard the soft whisper of the wind, begging me to go which ever direction it blew, and with that , I started over , walking down my path , stopping to smell the flowers for the first time.
