Hi all, I have one. Entering a competition, poetry, though I don't really write poetry, I've written one, the prize funds are good too :) It made me feel good and took my mind alittle away fron other things I sometimes think about in general.

Another is maths, it's pretty hard for me to do my maths and think about other things at the same time, the maths won for a time and time seemed to go by quite fast.

Next one, watching an absolute favourite TV series. See, I have lots...just wondering if anyone else has any ideas for me? Best wishes! HB

I do meditation and practice the mindfulness. The meditation helps a lot to be mindful. And mindfulness I think is what you are looking for. I started by paying attention to everything I do. I would repeat it in my head. In time you find you are only focusing on one thing at a time.

I am amazingly scatty sometimes. I think the mindfulness would help with that. :)

I believe you are right. Get some tips on meditation too. Look up mindfulness. Or go to mindful.org. I think that is the name of the site. It is in the resource thread on the forum. I wish you the best. It truly makes life a lot easier.

Maybe more artwork is in order...

When you draw, you are pretty much focusing on one thing. What you are doing. That is good.

Thanks Karen, :) I really appreciate your support. I spend a lot of time or used to, being independant, but gradually the independance has kind of turned to not being what I should be, I could be a lot better an influence and more sparkly, I should get that back more :) :)

That really rings a bell!! Can't quite put my finger on it whoo hoo reminds meof blur! I have mercury rev, the most depressing music I could listen to! Not really! Actually in this context it is relaxing, I do like depressive music and upbeat music, depressive music is fine for me when I feel stable like now and happy music good for me to up lift if for whatever reason need cheer. :)

I feel guilty again already, like I'm going to influence other people, because of the depressing music which I like, really honestly :( but I love music :) it also evokes emotion! I've loved music for years, I'm disappointed I don't know the songs by name, I bet I will when I hear them though! Do I still get an icecream cone if I look them up! :) :)

Thank you for the vanilla ice cream C :) I might actually go to the shop and buy one. The weather might be getting more spring-like now anyway. I've heard of 'brighteyes'someone I've known used to listen to a song of theirs.

I'm having a relaxing day of nothing much. But I've watched the paralympics (winter I think) I watched some ski ing.

It was the first one you mentioned! With the tardis in the cold and the village people in the other dream, then he 'the guy' was dust, but not in the real life later. I hadn't asked you about retmod before maybe :)
