been real busy guys. i hope you are all well. i thought i would update a bit. i just did 2 e-mails, my neighbour has just dressed my staph infection as well. we are not covering it today we feel it needs to dry out a little. been to the heart / physio assessment this morning. it went very well, she looked at all my scars and said i am healing nicely. i told her that i am just back into walking, she was with that. i explained the trauma of what happened to me at the hospital; she had some info but not all of it.
the program is a graded program of six weeks. the exercise componant goes for around 40 minutes will be expletived by the end. she said i can start next week, it runs on a wednesday so i said how about
i get stuck in and kick off tomorrow, she liked my enthusiasm. the lady has also refered me to smoking cessastion program as well. she advised that a lot of people start back when they feel well. so i thought i would check it out. just because i have had double by-pass graft surgery does not mean those grafts can't get blocked because they can. she liked the fact that it has been many many months without a ciggie and she reinforced my motivation with some postive words.
what was cool is they have volunteer drivers that pick you up and take you home. i am around 3 or so k's from the centre, so that is cool. there will be guest speakers over the six weeks, dietician, pharmacist, etc. today i did my bloods for my testosterone levels, as i feel they are very low. the nocturia is biting very very hard and i have made an appt for the 36th to see my gp to get a referal to a private urologist. i am prepared to pay, i just hope i can get in early, i definately can't go back and see my partner like this. i have my eye specilist thursday, will be good to catch up.
today my housing people finally gave me a new stove / cooker/ i have been here 13 years and nothing and the installer reckons it has been another 7 years on top, so 20 years and finally gets replaced. i have had a massive gas leak that was found a couple of weeks ago. my sister is furiously fighting to see who is going to take responsibility for it. my gas bills because of the leak have been through the roof, and i was charged hundreds of dllars and i was not even here let alone using the gas at all. we feel the leak has been going on for awhile, the gas bills indicate this.
