Hi All! as this is daily check-in, I thought this would be the best place to air my day.

Had a good day with special people, however, got into 3 arguments today! (each time, I almost got to the point of tears, but didn't and soldiered on)

Not aggressive arguments, I don't think I am usually like this, but sometimes things get to me.

I was fine though, no tears, no major fall-outs (at least at the moment, not :)

I do get a little wound up sometimes. I am greatful though, for having lovely, caring family in my life.

Just another quick thing I've just got into (used to do wordsearches when was younger) for general 'things to do', finding Crosswords fun to do :)  (If I know 'some' of the answers) :) HB

Hi All-

Trying to get my kids to go eat Mexican food with me- you'd think I had ask for a kidney or something! lol I THINK I have persuaded them.

Bean- I hope you have a better day tomorrow. Smile through it all!

Karen- YAYYYYY!!! Warm weather!

JB- Glad you are seeing some improvement. I really like the medicine.

Jamie- HANG IN THERE!!!!!

Trina- So good to see you back!

Rob- Every Texas has to have a pair of Wrangler jeans and boots. It's a requirement! I love a man in Wranglers and boots- my last one didn't wear them. MY NEXT ONE WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going to be a long week. Round 1 of state testing starts Tuesday. It will be a week of hell!!!!!!! But, I am going to smile through it!

Rah on the move! It is always nice to move into a new place.

I know exactly what you mean, JB, about the lethargy. That is the norm with fibro, and it bites. It just feels as if you cannot move anymore, and takes supreme effort to just. get. going.

Woohoo! Glad the night out was fun, and enjoy planning your time with daughter before she moves.

I couldn't get up this AM, and we decided to skip church. Pouring rain and snowed a little, but watched the NCAA tourney, and my Lady Terps won. Now, we officially skipped church because I was tired, but it also had something to do with missing the first half hour of the game....

I really do think I had an staph infection of some sort, and so the antibiotic will help. The boil dried up to the extent that it fell off last night. The skin underneath is very pink, but looks like I will not have a scar.

No work tomorrow as car is in shop getting the work done for state inspection. I will have to ride my bike to go pick it up when it is done. It's not far, luckily, though I will have to put the bike into the backseat to get home. Not sure how well that will work.

hanging in there ( and not from a tree!!). expletive. yes maybe an increase?? karen asked me i think if it only happens at home, basically karen is right. it did when i was in the uk but i was on a **** of a med that caused me a lot of personal stuff. you get the picture. no not at hospital, a bit of an issue with the catherter coming out but it had been in in for a week. i don't know anymore. just bloody shoot me. if i were a horse or a dog you would have put me out of my misery right now. i did go into renal failure at the hospital and was put on dialysys, but since then my bloods for my kidney has been given the all clear, lets see what the ultr-sounds picks up. bladder and urether have been done also.

the problem with this nocturia med is that it is extremely expensive-especially for the non generic, luckily my pharmacist had the generic as he was trying to save me some coin. he is a god bloke. i have been going there over for over 12 years now. him and his wife take turns running the shop, they are both pharmacists. yeah they have young ones. sleep, huh!!! i have been become a expletive vampire!! i hope everyone is well. my sword needs sharpening, my shield and armour strengthened - into the battle i go again, slaying expletive dragons. the enemy will soon taste my steel. our standards fly proudly high as the enemies blood sprawls in the sand.

Trina, I'm so glad to see you back!

MissJD, I'm glad the move is done. I've tried sharing a full size bed with my kids. They ended up with the whole thing while I slept on the floor! Lol

Jamie, I was just saying that I've become a vampire. It seems that the only sleep I get is a two hour nap mid afternoon. It's maddening and your body can't fully heal without sleep. Talk to your dr!

Hb, there's a lot to be said for conflict free time. Some people make it hard to achieve.

Rob, I was disappointed in that finale. It was so anticlimactic! No mention of Carol, Tyreese, Judith, and only one mention of Beth! I'd hoped for a better resolution. I was worried for a bit that Carl was going to die. I was glad to see Daryl stay true to the group. Otherwise, blah!

I did go to the family event. My aunts didn't let me pick up trash on the road because of my knees. It was great to see them. Not everyone showed up because it had rained the night before and everything was muddy. One aunt, who I've felt like my mom treated extra badly, sat with me and we had a nice chat. I always feel guilty and responsible for moms actions. I think there should be some way for me to fix it but my aunt told me that no one would ever ask that of me. It was nice to hear that. I hate the way my mom treats people. She's so self involved.

Good morning ....

   I am NOT a baseball fan, but it's like a major holiday around here on the radio. It's opening day for the White Sox today. The Cubs open in a couple of days - but today, it's supposed to be beautiful outside - some say in the mid-60's!

   At 48 degrees this morning, it's the warmest morning of the year - almost windbreaker weather!!! Gizmo had a nice ride - saw one dog but just missed his GF by a few minutes - but he was looking!!!

   AV .... good to hear you have a sound relationship with at least one aunt. More about TV a little later.

   Happy Turtle .... if it helps any, you're not alone on part of your journey. I've had a nefrostomy tube on my right kidney and an internal stent on my left kidney since June of 2012. And been in the hospital three times with kidney failure in 2011/2012. Ain't no fun at all ... I know!!!

   Myself .... I know more than i would like to know about lethargic feelings. Between three years of hormone therapy and the chemo night sweats .... am I going thru menopause? And ...... why do they call it .... "men" opause?

   Michele .... I will absolutely tell my daughter about the "wranglers"! Her BF is a wrangler-type of guy ... but I'm guessin his boots might be "Red-Wings" like mine ... for his bike riding!

   HB .... sounds like your arguments were more like just "differences of opinions"! That's cool - not a thing wrong with that!

   JB1 .... sleeping so much you're becoming lethargic - sounds too familiar. Maybe the excercising, in time, will help get you out of that slump.

   Karen .... I could talk about the 70's all day long! And almost none of it is bad .... except one "Good Friday" snowstorm that took me 10-hours to get home - YUK!!!!

   Cat .... sounds like a great attitude - music used to do that for me too!

   Trina .... you mentioned "ice and scream" in your last daily post. You really do have a passion for "Ben & Jerry" or ?????!

   AV #2 .......... Sorry you felt that way about the last episode of the season. I think the remaining 4 of the group were left in limbo-land just because of "the hook" left for us viewers to ponder. It ain't fair tv play - but it is pretty common for us viewers to spend the next 6-months partially unsatisfied.

   Rick became the BEAST! Daryl the BRO! Michone the guilty MOM! Carl the confused KID! Now I wonder how the sargeant is going to fit in with the new Rick being the absolute sheriff in town?

   Terminus was certainly left as a confusing entity. It's a well-hidden secret for at least the next 6-months! Why are they collecting people? And I guess I missed whos pocket watch that was that triggered Rick!

Rob, it was the watch that Hershel gave to Glenn. I have my suspicions about this Terminus group. I think they are cannibals! Food gets hard to forage after a while, you know. In thinking they took Beth.

I think the change in Rick had to happen. He realizes that being "nice" isn't going to keep his kids safe. It isn't going to save his friends. He's going to have to develop an edge. I don't think this Rick will be pushed around.

I am somewhat close to my aunts. My moms twin sister has always been there for me. Mom has 4 sisters and I have a good relationship with 2 of them and an ok with one. The other is a meth addict. I had quit going to visit when mom was living there (until November she was living with her older sister). Mom creates drama and I didn't want to be involved. I also feel so guilty for her actions that I didn't want to be reminded.

AV ...... thanks about the watch!

   You know, my first thought of Terminus was that they were harvesting people ..... especially with the radio broadcasts.

   Initially, I wondered if they were harvesting people for food for a collection of Walkers they had .... but why would they do that for Walkers?

   Then, last night after the program, I briefly thought they were robbing people ..... but what would people who are on the road carry with them that was of much value?

  

   So ....... was that Beth .... on the grill?

   Naw!!!!

   Whatever the mystery of Terminus is, I think Rick seeing that his son was about to be killed - turned the corner for Rick. He thought his daughter was already dead, he lost his wife, he lost his best friend ... so he just exploded into that dudes neck!@!!! No choice ... just survival ... and maybe even a little payback!!!

   Poop ....... now we have to forget about it for another 6-months!

cheers for sharing rob. i have just been looking at some herbal medicines that may help. i am looking at making an appointment with one herbalist whom is actually a doctor of herbal medicine. (chinese) i think this avenue will be good one. furthermore i can address other relevant concerns as well. will check it out tomorrow. cheers my hw army.

I don't know why they call it menopause Rob, but have you noticed that all women's problem start with 'men'? MENstruation, MENopause, MENtal breakdown. turn tongue turn tongue turn tongue

Hmmm... interesting UA

Jamie, chinese medicine does work for a lot of people. Acupuncture worked for me for almost a year. I wish you the best of luck!

   There were a couple of other man - words ... one of them I thought i better not mention here though!

   And I know you're in cellular. It's just that the post office has such a cavalier attitude in this area .... it was funnier saying the post office!

   By the way, any more expensive costumes out today?

Sorry I have been MIA so busy,

Jamie- I am so sorry that you have been having a rough good of things. I want you to stay strong and fight with me, my friend.

Rob- Yay for only one appointment, yay exercise! 38% is that because of the cancer? Be strong Rob I dont want anything happen to you.

Bnot- Oh wow ice? I am not sure that I could do that.

Cat- That sounds like fun.

JB- Once all of the levels even back out the sleep with not be so bad, Stay strong.

Mustang- GL on all of your state testing. You will pass with flying colors.

Bean- Dang! No more fights, feel the love, I am glad that you did not shed any trears.

Myself- Nice that the boil is gone and becareful that you do not let another come back up, I have repeats and it sucks!!!!!

A/V- You are not your mother or responisble for her actions. I am glad that you were able to connect with your aunt.

U/A- LOL you are killing me my friend! oh my gosh I lol very loud.

Well my friends things have been so busy, had to see my counselor today so we spent Sat-Mon at my parents house and we are back at my sisters, well our house now. I am tired but I am feeling good. Well I will be back tomorrow and fillyou all in some more. Love you all.

see ya then. got cardiac physio tomorrow and shrink friday. i am going to ask about the nocturia only happening at home, is this a trigger or is there a trigger here. i will talk about the panic issues at night as well. maybe they are mixing together in some sort of way to cause the nocturia. see ya soon guys.

Good morning ....

   It's dark and cold this morning. Looks like rain - and Giz was acting like rain was coming last night. He's a 4-legged barometer!

   It was 33-degrees at 7am ... and early start this morning. We saw one new puppy about 4-blocks away - cute and confused - looked like a leash was very new to that pup!

   UA ..... hope everything is OK with you. And, about the manatee .... shouldn't they be called "sea-bulls"? By the way - sorry for the cousin talk! I got carried away. I have a close cousin who i e-mail once or twice a week - and somtimes we talk (write) to each other like we're from Macon, GA ... and that's no disrespect to Macon! My cuz actually lives on Texas Street .... but in Northern Wisconsin!!! Jist a lil harmless fun!!! Ye-ha!!!

   Happy Turtle ..... I went for an extended time in 2011/2012 to combined Cardiac and Pulmonary monitored excercise sessions. My reason for going was Pulmonary ... but it helped so much, that when I went into the hospital for Kidney failure the first time with a 911 call, my physical condition pulled me thru 28-hours of a coma - and may have saved my life. I credit that mostly to the excercise sessions of 4-months prior to the hospital - 3x a week. Go for it Jamie!!!

   MissJD ...... you sound tired after the move. My poor breathing efficiency is because of the COPD ... and I was out of albuterol for about a week - and stopped taking the Spiriva and Advair for a couple of days. I was in a funky place for a few days last week! Everything's better now - thanks for asking!

   Karen ...... none of you young ladies here need to reinforce each other for "man-bashing"!!! UA did a very nice job on her own! And you out-number us besides!!! It just ain't fair!

   By the way ... what did ya think of the "Bates Motel" last night? Norman's playin with the wrong woman! Dylan is protecting the wrong person! And Norma is setting herself up for return favors - with the wrong millionaire! Oh yeh .... Emma .... what are you doin? (a silly question!)

I hope the sun is shining somewhere!~!!!

thx for sharing the info rob. i too went into renal failure. i was in i.c.u at the time so they knocked me out for a few days to get me passing urine again. (i was put on dialysis) i also not long after this, when i was knocked out with the renal failure i also went into heart failure. what you went through gives me strength. i will keep at it. cheers rob.
