Wellbutrin side effect question (red rash on cheeks)

Hi all, my psych dr. increased my wellbutrin from 150 per day to 300 per day (taking 150 in morning and 150 at night). I've been on this dose 2 weeks and serious side effects. However, I woke up this morning with slight red ashes on both on my face/cheeks. Has anyone else experienced this particular side effect? If so, did it go away eventually? I also called the dr. but it may be a while until I reach him.

Yes!!! when I first starting taking Wellbutrin I was on 100 twice a day and I immediately got a red rash around my neck and chin, mostly neck, it was actually very itchy, I spoke with a pharmacist as I could not get in to see my Dr at the time and he thought it could be from the dye they use in the meds, I know some are red or orange etc.

The rash lasted a few weeks then went. I'm now on 175 twice a day, (one 100 and one 75 twice a day) different color dye on the pills, but have had no problem.

The pills I take now are an orange color, before they were red and I'm thinking at one point they were a light blue color!
