Hi Cobia,
Welcome to the forum. I gave your thread a title, you will get more responses that way...
We are all different so it can vary on how long you go into remission. If you do. We just hope to feel better. Though my psychiatrist referred to my depression as in remission. That was a few years ago and that was after many years of medication and counseling. We all respond at different rates, and it also depends how hard you work. What coping skills that you use.
I really hope you feel better soon. Just out of curiosity, what methods of treatment are you doing? I take medications and go to counseling. Take care and keep posting, as it does help.
Hugs, Karen...

hi there, welcome to the forum. i agree with everything karen has said. for me my depressive illness has never been in remission, basically i have resistant type depression and have used other treatments to combat this. i alike karen, medication, therapy and every now and then i touch base with my psychiatrist. counselling really does give you many tools in terms of managing your condition and lessening it's hold on us. know that we are here for you. we understand.

Mine will not go into remission, it is more about
learning to live with and have coping skills, medication and a different life style.
feel better soon
