I have to agree with Karen and Trina. Yes, sometimes it is hard to practice what others preach. But the more you do it, the easier it gets, until it becomes automatic. Right now, your default is stay sad and depressed. It's time to buck up, and change the default. It's not hard to do use these skills--it's just comfortable.
Life is full of ups and downs. I have been down for about four years, but am slowly coming back up again. Slowly.
Tell doc. Be clear. Maybe it is time to add a session.
