I've been on Lexapro for a few months now, I started at a small dose of 5 mg's I am now up to 15mg, I know I should up it to 20 mg's this week, but it seems like as soon as I get over the feeling bad when my dose is increased, it is time to up it again.
I don't have another appointment with my Psychiatrist for a couple of months, so I know I have a few months to be on the 20 mg's so that is a plus knowing it won't be upped any time soon.
The biggest plus that I have noticed from using Lexapro is that I don't tend to sit around and continually worry about
really silly things, I kind have that "oh well" attitude, I explained it to my doctor as kind of numb which he said can be normal for a while.
I hope I continue to see improvements with the medication, I am supposed to start therapy as soon as a therapist has an
opening, that may help me understand some of the underlying issues that cause such sever anxiety, plus I have PSTD and a touch of OCD(I say a touch but who knows if its a touch or not).

That is a good start Brenda, I think after all the side effects have run their course, you will notice that you are feeling better. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
Hugs, Karen...
