Good morning .......

   Busy day today!

   UA ........ What's this with the vegetables??? I'm not very good with them myself - but it's more lazyness. You know ... make vegetables, then put the rest away for another day. I have been known to have one package of Summer Squash - for lunch with nothing else!

   HT ..... the clock is ticking!!!!! Soon!!!!

   MissJD ...... a "sheet" head huh! I'm not usually so diplomatic!

   AV ...... check with your doctor. I remember you said you thought your Nephrologist (sp?) was a good one. I fired mine almost two years ago because he couldn't seem to make up his mind whether or not I needed those potassium horse pills or not!

Notes:

   Gizzy saw his girlfriend this morning - from the back seat of the car. He is good in the car ... surprisingly!!!!

   More rain overnight - but the sun is out today. Supposed to get up to 82 today.

   I've got my support group in 90-minutes ... then finally get my snow tires/rims off the car this afternoon ... then a seminar tonight.

Sounds like a busy day, Rob. I'm glad you remembered to get the tires changed out. The cats are horrible in the car. The last time I took them to the vet for shots was a disaster. I took all 3 (there's 4 now ). They cried and hid under the seats. Not fun. Next time I'm doing it one at a time.

MissJD, sorry your son is misbehaving. I'm having some of that here, too. My suster's baby hits and bites. The older kids have been stuck inside too long because a week of rain. There's lots of arguing. My sister says she is picking her kids up today.

Jamie, I'm glad the ribs are healing. It wouldn't have been fun to travel with them still hurting.

Michele, I hope the costochondritis is going away.

I woke up at 4 am with the beginnings of a migraine and incredibly nauseated. I have some phenergan left over from after my surgery. I thought the migraine was causing the nausea but now the migraine is gone and the nausea persists.

Hunter does fine in a cat carrier. Mojo out grew his. I need to get him one that is made for a small dog. Bernie cries and thrashes around in it. I'm afraid he will hurt himself. Mo hides at the vet. He puts his face in the crook of my arm. He's very anxious around strangers. The vet is always a dramatic event for him. I'm not sure if its because he remembers all the times that put his leg in casts after he broke it or if he's just generally anxious.

My former cat, Floyd (named after Pink Floyd and the Wall, and she was a girl cat) was awful in a car/carrier. She would vomit approximately 5 minutes into the trip, and had herself so worked up that she would continue to vomit or dry heave until we reached out location. On the way home, ditto, except that her system was empty. Not good, since she was a diabetic.

When I moved the first time, I got some kitty tranquilizers. They worked great, except she would lose control of her bladder/sphincter about an hour after ingesting the drugs. But she loved the ride, and would chirp happily in her carrier.

We called her a special needs cat. She had a very low IQ, diabetes, and had some kitty issues.

Catter, on the other hand, was best out of the carrier. She loved car rides, and would often crawl into the back window and sun herself. I only started using the carrier when she was old, frail, and her nails no longer string enough to help her hold on during curves.

Those that are down, Turtle, Rob, AV and others, do hope today is better. Thunderstorms again, messing with me. Connection is slow I type a whole sentence before it catches up. Will go out soon.

Funny little blurb. We have had rain for 3 daays straight almost all day. More coming with in 2hrs, bad thunderstorms. Guess what my neighbor is doing?......... Watering her flowers. Talk about a waste of resources and energy all the way around!
No judgements here! Just loving life.

Time for pain meds.

I hope everyone is doing ok today.

Rob- I'm so jealous- 95 degrees here today. It's the kind of heat where your car ac just starts cooling when you get where you are going. Glad you got the tires changed. I need new tires- $800 but I'm getting a $250 credit for my current tires since they are still under warranty.

Karen - are you feeling ok today? I loved your response on myself's thread about you love typing and doing work, but you didn't want to sit behind a desk. And here you are. Lol it made me crack up! So true how things come full circle!

Trina- I hate it when I see the schools sprinklers on while it's raining. I get mad- the district doesn't have money to pay for Kleenex or paper clips but you can water. Silly! Be safe with the storms.

AV- how are you feeling now? I know you love the kids but I hope your sister comes and gets her kids. This is causing physical and emotional stress to you.

UA- three day weekend? I'm so jealous- but I get one this weekend!! No college class tomorrow or over the weekend.

JB- hope you are ok.

Well my daughter barely tapped a lady's car with her car Tuesday afternoon. No one was hurt thank goodness. No damage to my daughters car, two less than an inch scratches on the lady's 2003 bumper. I was hoping we could settle out of pocket. But, she filed a claim. Do not get me wrong- she totally deserves to get her car fixed no matter how old it is. And I'm willing to pay. But now my daughters car insurance will be going up $100 a month. I will be paying $450 a month, yes a month, because I have two teenage drivers. Now I'm all stressed on where that is coming from. I work two jobs and I'm already stretched. Frustrated.

Counseling tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it.

Gotta get ready for college. Test tonight.

AV: Itz so natural to feel exhausted. U have been under a lot of stress for a long time. I am so sorry u had to endure all the stressors. Take some me time SOON!
Mabe now u can not see how much stronger u r from this experience or how much u have learned about UR strengths. U will soon. U have come thru the other side so far and may UR journey continue give u the strength to sustain u toward the light & guide u thru UR new path for a better future.

She's back to not answering. My grandmother says my sister needs time to grieve her marriage and in the same breath it's good for me to have all the kids because it keeps me busy. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister 's kids but I don't have the resources to keep them for much longer.

I'm stressed out. Everything is happening at once and so many things I can't do anything about. I'd live me time but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I'm seeing my dr tomorrow. I will only have my insurance for a month more at least. I've got to try and get as much done in that time as possible.
