eyes  I have been majorly depressed due to lingering shingle pain---like 18 months.  Can't find anything that will stop it.  The rash is gone,but the pain isn't.  The only thing that works is Gabepenten. and that is ify most times.  My daughter told me about Topamax, but am not reading very good things about it.  I don't

 want to take anti depression pills because of the weight gain and I already have gained a lot because of lack of exercise and a side effect of Gabepenten is weight gain.  Anybody have any answers?

Try wellbutrin, there is no weight gain to that. Not that I have ever heard of. but you can lose weight on it.

Anna, you have been asked to take your blog site out of your profile. It is an advertisement for your soap. I think it would be a good idea to do that. You will most likely get banned if you don't.

Welcome Pitt I am on Topamax for chronic pain and the only thing I have to remember is to drink lots of water to flush the kidneys.
the drug is great for me, it is also a mood stabelizer.

I did not have any weight gain on it. Talk about the side effects with your pharmacist, that should help calm you down some.
