Hi Michele .......
Dont'cha luv bein a parent????
Someone once said it was tougher raising girls than boys. I don't know if i agree - but I still remember over 20-years ago when my 13-14-year old daughter said to me "Dad, don't kiss me good-bye"!
Right thru the heart!!!!!
It is said about daughters that you don't want anything to do with them until they're in their mid-20's ..... then they become human again. Of course that was starting at somewhere around 15 .... and that's a gross exaggeration too.
But, my youngest daughter, at around the age of 24 or 25 .... all of a sudden could not say good-bye to me on the phone without "love you"! Then the thought is ....... "Oh God, it was worth it"!!!!
Try ...... to convince yourself ....... this is just a temporary thing. They must become totally self-centered - before they really become an adult!
Be kind to yourself.
