Thanks, chawl. My job for the next week is to get and read some middle school arts teaching books. It is an area that is somewhat lacking in my education. I get the feeling my skill sets need a little honing. Creative dramatics, and movement skills. Last time I dealt exclusively with middle schoolers was when I taught at a summer camp in the early 90s. Since then, all adults, all the time.

Me does not think they are interested in my Moliere lecture, or the evolution of theatre spaces from the Greeks through the Jacobeans. LOL.

The principal sat in on a class I was covering (for an English teacher), so she is familiar with my ability before a class. The school is in an upper middle class professional area, most of the parents commute to DC. It's roughly half an hour from the Beltway, and about 15 minutes from Metro.

Any pointers, Michelle? Seriously, anything?
