Chele--Question?

Is it overkill to prepare a folder with some sample lesson plans and production ideas? This is what I was taught to do.

As far as I know, there will be the principal only. That is all they have told me. They always use the online application system to initiate any contact, so I was given the name, the school, the date, and a choice of three times in an email.

My 'take' on this is they lost the drama teacher (somehow), and when they searched the system, they found my name. I cannot imagine there are many theatre specialists available. Several of the theatre teachers I have subbed for have been either mostly music or really-English-but-can-teach-theatre types. The principal has seen me teach as an English Sub.

Also, it helps that the school is in an upper/middle class area where there is an emphasis on the arts.

Monday morning. Early, for me anyway. This is my first foray into public schools. Luckily, I have subbed out there several times, and have at least a general sense of the culture.

I tend to over-prepare, as a rule. Perfectionist with my work.
