Hi Karen,

I just wanted to know how you are doing? I notice that you don't post as much as you use to and wanted to make sure you are alright.

I am okay, but trying to go off of pain medications, so I don't always feel well. But I am going slow, and taking it one day at a time. I really appreciate you asking about me. I am sure once I get stabilized, I will be on more. I think I am going on suboxone. If I get the nerve to try it... Either that or taper off.

I am reading, more than posting. But it feels good to know I am missed...

Hey GB...I'm sorry you're having a hard time.  I'm questioning SO many things since I started PM in January.  I KNOW that after a lifetime of pain, I NEED help with managing it @ 53.  I can't DO THIS without medication any more.  I am currently taking Oxycodone because I can't afford ER (long story).  However, I SWEAR that I feel WORSE pain between dosing intervals.  I'm anal...so I question everything.  Right now I'm thinking I should stop this train while I can.

If you need to talk, please email me.  I'm here.  I understand.  Really.

BTW...Is your fluffy friend still smelling groomelicious?

Sweet friend,

Give yourself the compassion your would give others.

At least try the medication, you can always call the doc and discuss if it is not working or you do not like it. The game plan won't work unless you take the next step.

Remember to breath in slow to 3 out to 4 and keep yourself calm. Hard for us I know. Pull out TRAINING A WILD ELEPHANT it may just help.

You are loved and cared for here, the universal karma coming your way is a powerful flow of love, sit quietly and receive it.

Thanks guys... It really means a lot right now. I did get out for a walk this morning. It is a harder day, but I wouldn't expect anything less. I pick up the mediation tomorrow, but want to wean down before starting it.

I was about to send you an email. I too have been so concerned. As you know, I experience chronic pain myself. I'm always here to listen. Many times, my pain makes me so angry. So, yell, scream throw things at me!!!!

I feel really bad, that I am not helping anybody at this moment here. Please everybody forgive me... I feel so thinly spread at the moment. I am going to get through this though.

There are a few posts that I haven't answered and I feel bad for that. I hope everybody here knows how much I care about you all... You all mean the world to me. Just know I am going to be back and bright and bushy tailed soon. It just takes a little time.

In the meantime, I am working on getting better. And I know I have all of your support. This place means the world to m and so do all of you...
