Very yucky today...

I haven't been posting much, but I have been doing incredibly well with Brintellix, I have to say it has been the best AD I have been on up to this point, and the quickest working that I have ever been on.

Again I am going through an Insurance issue because my doc upped my dosage to 20 mg which is when I really noticed the depression was almost non existent, so now I am waiting on the insurance company had to drop back down to 10 mg's because I don't have enough to get me through till probably even Tuesday.

Anyway, I still feel okay with the lower dose, just today I feel more panicky than normal, I had to walk to the store this morning which may be one of my issues, and I just don't like to walk by myself right now and I think I kind of psyched myself up, I even took a xanax before I walked.

Now my chest is hurting, I feel burpy and just yucky, I am wondering "if this is it", or could it be me having a panic attack, oh yeah seems like I am having a very hard time getting that deep cleansing breath, and I feel like I need one bad.

Thank you Cilly, typically I do worse seemingly when my medication is increased, but when my doctor increased the brintellix to 20 mgs it really did wonders for me, and still is I just have to be back down to 10mgs for now until the insurance issue gets worked out, or until I get to his office to get some more samples.

I think the medication is the one for me, unfortunately it seems to be a hard one to get filled because of the cost(in my opinion), a 30 day supply of 10 mg tablets is over 318.00 which is ridiculous, so it would figure the one that works the best for me, is the one I have the hardest to get.

My anxiety has been much better, xanax always works for me, just today it had been hours since I took one and I guess I was anxious having whatever issue I had in my chest, I called my mom talked to her a bit and never took another xanax, so thankfully I am feeling better at the moment.

AD can cause heart burn. I eat yogurt after taking my meds, it does help.

Also slow deep breathing. in to the count of 3 and out to the count of 4. The longer exhale naturally calms the body and will stop a panic attack. do it for at least 5 -10 times. You can do this exercise anywhere, any number of times through out the day.

LOL @ Lisa, my kung fu neighbors car has come up missing, he says it is "being worked on", but not quite sure about that. I would hitch hike before I even approached him for a ride.

Still having an Insurance issue, have one brintellix left for tomorrow night, my insurance changes tomorrow, called my doctor he called while I was on the phone with who knows who and missed the call, so I have to try again tomorrow, was on the phone with the Social Security Administration to get my address changed took only 67 minutes.

It has been a somber few days, a person I went to church with lost their son this weekend in a tragic pontoon boating accident, they went out on Saturday 2 boys made it to shore, he was missing, they had search and rescue and found him on Sunday so that has been a true tragedy, it was right here in New Smyrna Beach, he was my daughters age.

I know all of our days are numbered, but I feel completely horrible that someone lost their life, but yet I tend to complain about mine, so in light of all of this it does make one think about things and how truly grateful we should be for another day of life, that we have our children and family that we love, even through some issues I can still hug mine and tell them I love them.
