I was married 21 years when I was diagnosed. Rough to say the least, took 2 years for hubby to get therapy and realize it effects him too.
Like everything in marriage, this is not just about
him. It is about
how you react also. Learn about
the diagnosis. Find support groups urge him to go, go with him.
Get him on meds. Gently keep him on meds. This is no picnic.
NO one was promised a rose garden after a wedding, but getting through this with love, compassion and wisdom, learning is better then, "WTH" am I to do now?
