A vision board is great. I did one with my book club. We used magazines and pulled pictures, words, phrases etc.. Anything that had to do with things we wanted to accomplish in our lives. A few examples from my board(which is a 22 by 14 trifold - like a small science fair display board) I selected that because it is free standing. I keep it sitting on the back of my night stand. Works perfectly. Anyway on with the examples.

I put a big picture of a relaxing poolside, set with comfortable looking reclining chairs, red pillows (one of my 2 favorite colors) a straw canopy and the ocean view in the back. Looks serene. Selected that because I want calm - no depression, no anxiety.
I found phrases - my journey to calmness, inner peace, don't stress, I am unlimited, someday is today.
Things I want(some pictures some words) shape up, get fit plan, get a new bathroom, camera, whiter smile, Louis vuitton (a purse which I plan to get soon with a bonus from work), release your skin's full potential, pots and pans ( I don't cook but want to), a diamond ring, a mothers love (phrase which is next to the pots - I often feel bad about not cooking so much for my son), fun, live, financial fitness (to remind me to spend in moderation) OK, I guess you get the picture.

Then I put it all together like a collage. I look at it often. I'm coming along with achieving some of the goals. Just think about things that you want for your life. I love my board. And it is great to look at it and see what you have done. It also helps me focus on getting things done. It is a visual plan.

Lay it out before you glue it down. Make it pretty to look at. I didn't put anything handwritten on mine but some of the others did.

Go for it and have fun doing it.

Great reminder Turtle! I've heard of vision boards but I've never made one. They suggested it in the documentary "The Secret" as a Law of Attraction concept. Now I want to make one too! Too bad we're not all closer..we could have a crafting day making vision boards lol!

Stillme- love your board. Mine sounds like it would be similar. Love that you're treating yourself to an LV purse *drools* I'd love to have one. (nice purses and nice perfumes make me happy). Need to find a pic of my favorite and add it to my collage
