Hi there,
Welcome to the Depression Forum...
You definitely need to learn mindfulness. There is a site
mindful.org that can help you with this. You will learn to forget about
the past and not worry about
the future, which will solve a lot of your problems. I hope you check it out.
I would let the doc know about
the stuttering. I had that problem on neruontin. It made it hard for me to get words out. Just incase the medication is causing it, that and the shaking. It could be anxiety, if it is, the mindfulness should help.
Take things one day at a time. There is a book called "the new mood therapy", by Dr. David Burns. It is all about
CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). And it is easy to read and learn about
. I think it may help you... If not, talk to your doctor about
it... It will help you to not get flustered and to not drive your girlfriend away. But by the sounds of it, she is there for you which is awesome...
I hope that you feel better soon.
Music helps a lot... Do listen...
Hugs, Karen...
