Keep me in your thoughts this weekend

Hey folks-

As many of you know, BF and I have had a rocky few years. With both of us on meds and in therapy, things have been far more smooth for the past several months. Also, after stopping birth control and going with a copper IUD (Look, MA, No Hormones!!), my depression seems to have lessened some.

But, the difficult thing between us is my difficulty getting a proper job. I have a difficult conversation to have with him this weekend. I talked to my therapist about how to approach it so it doesn't start an explosive fight. I made a plan/outline for the conversation today, and plan to have it tomorrow afternoon.

I need to talk to you about something important that has happened. I am upset by this, and did not see it coming. I know this will upset you, but you need to know the information. I would like you to know so that you can give me advice and we can discuss the next step.

So. There it is, pure and simple.

Keep me in mind tomorrow.

Oh man, the hormones from BC can be a real problem with depression. Glad you got the copper IUD!

Best wishes talking to your bf. Just remember you are an intelligent and capable woman & no matter the outcome, you will prevail. Many people don't have the courage to approach issues. I'm proud of you for that!

You're going through SO MUCH right now with your mom, family, and job hunt stress that I'm in awe of your strength.  I think I'll just say that I'm amazed with "Myself"...get it?

I guess I shouldn't ask, but are you pregnant?  Sorry if that's inappropriate, but I tend to "read" into things.  Forgive my ignorance, but I'm still a relative newby and don't really know your history. 

As for the job search, I was so excited for you when you had the "call-backs" and spoke of the potential commute times.  The position for YOU will come, though I understand your frustration.  It's not as though you've been lying around nibbling bon-bons?!  I'm not sure why your BF is upset with your temporary unemployment.  I realize the decreased income would be challenging.  However, I've no doubt you would emotionally support him if the roles were reversed. 

You are an intelligent, charismatic, creatively thoughtful person, with much to offer this world.  Above all that (and this quality will bring you through the FIRE) YOU ARE A STRONG WOMAN, with what I perceive as the ability to kick some ass when necessary.

You have tremendous support here.  Count me as one of many.
