Letting Go - A poem of sorts, by someone suffering fallout

I am letting you go

I have chosen to forgive you

I am choosing not to hold you at fault, for I know the man I grew to love deeply would not treat me the way you are treating me know

I choose to believe that you are a good man with good intentions who is making poor decisions based on an inner turmoil I cannot fix (only you can do that)

I am choosing to believe that you really did love me, you really did want me, because I think you really did

You loved me enough to let me go

I will be OK, don't worry about me, I am a treasure to be valued (and I will be)

I truly hope you find happiness one day (soon), you deserve to be loved, you really do

I love you, I will never forget you
