I feel very crummy today. I don't any fight in me right now. I should be calling trying to get Medi-Cal straightened out but I don't have the energy. I am seeing the doc today. I'm hoping he can give me some samples of some meds but I don't think he'll have everything. Today was my last dose of thyroid medicine and Wellbutrin. I don't have anymore and can't pay for it. I already have a fifty dollar deficit in my bank account.
My boyfriend tells me I'm negative.. that just makes me feel worse.

Can your boyfriend pay for a month of meds until the insurance is straighten out?

Hey Chris...I hope you're feeling better this afternoon.  What did your doctor think?  Was he able to help you?  Mine often gives me samples of Linzess, as it's $258 per month.  I understand your fatigue and malaise, but it's a luxury we can't afford.  Pick yourself up and start over again.

I did get some samples from the doc. He told me not to worry about the thyroid meds because it is such a small dose it probably wouldn't make a difference. The one I'm really worried about is the Wellbutrin. I've been on it for over 4 years. In the mean time I did get an email from the Dept of Human Services that says It should be fixed in 1-2 business days. I'm praying that it does get fixed but Medi-Cal told me that before so I'm trying not to get to excited. BF has no money. He's on Social Security and that is all we are living on right now. I'm scheduled for a hearing tomorrow to try and get back unemployment money. I've also applied for disability from Dec 8th forward.

The good news is that I got my meds with a low copay. It is actually supposed to be no copay.. but when my old insurance dropped off they billed medi-cal with a share of cost. So I got my two drugs that I really needed and it only cost me $6.00!!!!!!

So the problem isn't completely fixed but I have the meds I need for the moment. I have samples of the more expensive one to last me for a month. And I have some old abilify 10 mgs I can cut in half (I'm only supposed to be on 5 mgs).

So.. maybe things are looking up! THANK GOD!!!!

That is so awesome Chris!!! I am very happy for you. I take abilify too. I get 20's and cut them in half so I can make my prescription last two months. The copay is high...

The 10's (abilify) are so small they are hard to cut in half but.. hey whatever ya gotta do, right? :)
It's cold here but not that cold... I think 58 degrees.. cold for Sacramento.
