Folic Acid

My doc gave me some samples of a type of folic acid today. It's by prescription only. It says that it's for "the clinical dietary management of the metabolic imbalances associated with depression an schizophrenia". My doc says it could help with my serotonin levels. It's called Deplin. I'm going to give it a try.. I'm willing to try almost anything at this point. Anyway.. I'll keep you posted.

That is interesting, I do know my Psychiatrist told me to make sure I was taking a vitamin that had folic acid in it(he said it helps the medication and/or depression), so it would be interesting to know how this works for you.

Interesting, seems I have heard of this before, I think in support group, but the person left before we knew the outcome.

I have heard of deplin before, it works for some people. I hope it works for you...
