You might need a combo of meds, alot of us, including me take 1-4 meds to balance the emotions depending situations and diagnosis, where we are in our healing journeys at therapy.
ALSO, coping skills VERY IMPORTANT. I don't wake up and move until I thank someone/thing for the day. I made it one more day. Another gift. Won another battle!
Mindfullness, meditation [in many forms] music, art, walking, journaling DBT, CBT, combo or any of these with additions of what might make you feel secure., Skills are important; talk to your doctor about them.
Meds can only do so much, rarely do they do 100% of the work, we as the person diagnosised have to own the diagnosis, not BE it.
