Has anyone been on Remeron long term (over one year)

I have been on Remeron for about two weeks, and so far it has really lifted the depression. Is anyone on this or has been on this medication for depression for over a year?  I have some anxiety because I read a post where someone was on it for only a month, and it pooped out on them.  I have tried the SSRI's (Zoloft, Lexapro, Cymbalta (SSNRI) Prozac, etc) and had bad experiences with them - the Doctor said a different class of drug might help me more than the SSRI and thought the Remeron would work better, which is seems to so far..thanks for reading.
