Good morning to you both, Karen and Jamie....

Raining hard here today. Poor kitty didn't want to go out to do his 'stuff'....
The lawn got cut yesterday. Not looking forward to all the work involved with this warmer weather. (Always something to complain about. )

I know Joyce, we are greening up a bit, which looks nice, but then the lawn has to be mowed. Ha!!!

I am looking forward to mushroom hunting though!!!

Have you made any decisions about your teeth?

Did you know...my home town is known as 'The Mushroom Capitol of the World"?

(nope...still mulling over the mouth options. Don't know WHAT I want to do....waaaaahhhh)

Raining today. Feeling blech! Circumstances? Will be trying my 'music therapy', hoping it helps. On the bright side, nature is taking care of my 'watering chores'!

We had big storms last night. At one point my phone made an awful ruckus. I forget that these severe storm warnings can broadcast on phones. It startled me! Lol

My pain is still unmanaged and had a bad stomach weekend but today is a new day! My cats are being crazy messes today. They are running around chasing each other except for Hunter. I'm thinks ng I may need to take her by the vet. She's so tiny and much smaller than the others despite being almost 3. She's my cuddle buddy, constantly cuddling.

Cuddling is so nice... I am glad you have cats. I am a dog person but the cuddling is the same.

We are getting rain today. Kind of cold. A good day to bake...

I hope your pain gets better. I hope kitty will be okay.

Thanks, Karen. I think pets do help. I've raised 2 of my kitties from teeny, tiny kittens. Hunter is one of them. She has always been smaller but lately she is looking downright frail. She's acting normally but I worry when she loses any weight. Its crazy because the other cats are 17 lb, 15 lb, and 12 lb. Hunter tops out at 7 lb and I think she's below that right now.

Just a few more 'bites' of information about my town, Karen...

Kennet Square's mushroom farms account for 47 percent of total U.S. mushroom production, according to Pennsylvania’s Agricultural Development Council. This means over 400 million pounds of mushrooms

The bulk of the mushrooms produced in the area are in the Agaricus family – the ubiquitous white and brown buttons plus the large portobellos that have become popular grilled-steak substitutes of late. The region also produces what are called “specialties” or “exotics” – shiitakes, oysters, maitakes, beeches, enokis and pom poms. (Unfortunately, wild porcinis and morels have never been tamed.)

wow, awesome Joyce... My husband is out checking some spots right now. I think it is too early but you never know and it is nice to get out in the woods. Though it is raining a little. I love mushrooms!!!

AV, Yes, that kitty is small. I hope she is okay. I have seen them small like that though. And big!!! Cats can vary so much. But you can tell if something is wrong I am sure.

Those with kitties or puppies, give them a rub for me.

Worked today--a quiet day with kids I know. I spent most of the time drawing up answers to prospective questions for Wednesday's interview. I even emailed a teacher at the local private school I sub for, asking for advice. Craft store, gym, and home. Rinse and repeat.

Feeling more focused recently. A confluence of events create a calming in perception. Let's hope the trend continues.

Mmmm, mushrooms!

School, pretty easy. Teacher was on field trip with more than half her students. It was quiet. Stopped by a nursery for some herbs, and now home. I am looking forward to some quiet time tomorrow.

I have been thinking about a new (to me) philosophy of teaching. It has made me see things differently.

I saw my new PCP today. It went very well. I really feel like she's listening. She changed my antidepressant and set me up with a therapist. She's doing a few things to help my joint issues. Found out that my right knee has no cartilage.

The vet suggested putting Hunter on kitten food so I picked some up today. The trick is going to be keeping my big kitties out of it. Otherwise, Hunter is healthy. She hates car rides so she is getting extra loving.

Yes Myself, snow. All day, though it is melting when it hits the ground, it is happening none the less... Ha!!! Snow, rain, sun... Strange weather. But a lot of wind, I think it keeps moving the clouds out for the sun to peak...

I am glad you had a good day at the school...

AV, You really do love your kitties. They are so lucky to be yours. I Hope Hunter gains some weight. I guess you will have to feed them separate.
