So, we had our community meeting here and they announced the winner of the 'Spring Clean Up Contest". ME! Yay! Got a nice little white flower pot, gardening gloves, a new trowel and cultivator, some flower seed packets and a $25 gift card for Walmart! How nice! Of course, I already went to Walmart and 'spent' the card! I got a Clematis, a Mandevilla (both for the back arch) 2 small ornamental grasses, some Zinnias and Marigolds and I also bought my daughter her beloved Calla Lilies.

I went over to Lowe's too and got another fence post so I can use one of the sections of fence as a 'gate' between the front and back parts of the yard.

I'm glad I decided to put some solar path lights along the new flower bed on the 'street side' of the property. Even though I didn't get them in until late afternoon, they got enough of a charge to be lit last evening. Tonight should be even brighter!

My daughter has been taking pictures and posting them on Facebook. I think my grandson is the better 'photographer'! He has a good instinct for composition!

Hello to everyone else.

My news: I'm signing for for school. I am going to complete the application form online this evening and on Monday I will go and drop in the relevant documents. Once I do that, it's just to wait and see if I get accepted. Choosing a course a bit of a challenge since it didn't have my interests (computers/IT) with the online option. But I finally decided on marketing. It will be approx 5-6 years to complete my BSc.
Well, I have to get accepted first.
I still feel stressed about this. Things are still not good with bf too...

UA... Awesome about school!!! Learn as much as you can while you are young. It helps you so much through life... Best wishes for everything. Sorry about you and boyfriend, but work on the school aspect, the rest falls into place for you!!!

Apparently a flock of geese flew over...and decided it was time to dump some do-do. My deck was COVERED with white splotches. Wish it would rain.

How is everybody doing this evening? Good I hope. It stopped raining here so it is back to the mushrooms tomorrow. I can't wait...

Got blood work this morning and did a bit of shopping, only to find out I didn't have enough money in my checking account. Embarrassing, but made it through with a little cash I had to add to it.

Well, the procedure went ok. I am pain free and have been for about 6 hours. Feels nice!!

One of the side effects of the bolus of morphine is itching. Of course it started after I left the hospital! So Benadryl is my best friend right now! Lol

Just so very sad today, got some lab results on the cell phone while I was at Hobby Lobby...disease activity and inflammatory markers for RA we're high, very high. I almost broke down and cried at hobby lobby but waited and cried here at home......

Hi everyone!! Haven't been around for a while. I hope everyone is doing well.

My anxiety is eating me alive right now!! Seriously considering seeing the psych nurse practitioner to ask for prescription help. Been taking 1/4 of a .5 mg alprazolam at bed time and then 1/4 or half to get me through the day. But even that is just not doing it for me. Been doing an online CBT course myself but I'm too anxious to even write about my issues right now.

Hi Joyce, getting by, turtle, chele! Hope everyone is doing well chartreux, so sorry to hear about the blood test results. Maybe you'll be onto some relief here soon though? Lupus runs in my family and I have a male cousin just diagnosed with it. His inflammation is out of control. I hope you get some relief soon!
