Morning all -

Thank goodness for a long weekend. For some reason, this last week was a real struggle. But we all survived.

4-8 inches of rain expected here this weekend. My back is screaming with pain!!

Seven more school days with my kiddos. One of those days I have jury duty. My doctor said he would write me a note to give the judge.

CHEERS JOYCE. 2nd eldest animal. 220 million years. second to the dinosaur. early night. the eldest was around 209. passed in 2007, i think. not sure on the age and year, but was over 200 years old.

Whew....looks like 'all's well, that ends well'. FINALLY back to normal and could read the following email from my son.

Hi, Mom,

As I'm sure you have noticed, the internet is slow this morning.

I'm running an update for the maps on my GPS... it takes a long time and will cause slowness on the internet connection. It will continue to run until about 9AM, give or take an hour or so... until then, it's going to be slow going.

My apologies.

My son and I use the same connection. Glad to know it wasn't my computer!!!! Couldn't afford a new computer right now. Karen, you have no idea how much I've had to spend on my dental implants.!!!!

Good morning all!

Well, the storms were supposed to hit here around 2am. Like clock work, I woke up and looked at radar. The storms were still 3 hours away. Lol. So, I was up for an hour. Right at 5:30, my phone goes off with a weather alert. I've been up since then and guess what, we just got a bit of rain. Other parts weren't so lucky. I've always had weather anxiety. Winds and lightening scare me.

Since I've been up, I've been shopping online. Big mistake, but I ordered some cute clothes, inexpensive jewelry and a new purse. Yep, big mistake.

This week, I bought three tickets for the Garth Brooks concert in July. I can't wait!!

Well off to get some work done!

As a tribute to Turtle Day the Maryland Terrapins Lacrosse team won the semi-final Championship match. They play for the title Monday. The Lady Terps are playing tonight for the Women's championship.

HA!!! love it. :-) awesome. good chuckle. go, turtle power!!! hey everyone. been walkies. dry at the moment. been up very early. too many dreams. a member gave me an idea on a dream catcher. things to do. i would love a lap top., my computer sits on a 7ft table. metal draws. need to go through them sooner or later. way too many coffee's this morning!!! buzzzzzzzzzz. keep safe chele, glad ya computer is alright joyce. yeah joan, i hear ya. be good, and if ya can't-be really bad at it!!! cheers.

Hi all. Still hanging in there. Yesterday, the dogs broke the diverter for the garden hoses! Haven't been able to get the bib piece unscrewed! Had to buy one of those pump devices to get water to the most wilted plants. I can't lift a watering can, but the pump thing has a hose that reaches even the hanging pots. Have asked the neighbor to come look and see if there is anything he can do to get the darn thing off the hose bib. Worst case scenario, replace the whole spigot. So glad I know so many 'tradesmen'! Can't imagine how much it would cost to get a plumber on a holiday weekend!

Thirty three years ago today, I gave birth to my daughter. Time is slipping away so fast! She is working a 12 hour shift today, won't be home till about 10 p.m., so I'll be making her cake tomorrow when she is off. Already gave her the gift. She's wanted Calla Lilies for a long time and this year, I finally planted some for her. Hopefully, they will be back every year, right around her birthday!

Well, the guy I've spent 5 months with decided that he didn't want ti be with me. I'm "an incredible woman". Not enough for him.

With my pain wearing me down, I'm destroyed. I'm having those horrible thoughts- who would miss me? I know this will be edited but I'm seriously feeling this way.
