Good morning!!
GREAT POSTS everyone. Living in the 'real world' and accepting what our 'real life' is; takes courage in this era. Some mornings it is 'right there' and other mornings I have to dig deep to find it. One thing I am thankful for; is this season of being able to get outside. I read a devotion a long time ago that I keep in my heart which reminded me that we were created to be outdoors as well as other creatures. "Live outdoors as much as possible; for greater healing", it encouraged. Depression and anxiety has always been there; yes. But we people have fallen into 'seclusion'; which makes our issues worse. I agree with many of the comments here. As much as I feel encouraged by the posts here from people I have never laid eyes on; or sat and had a cup of tea or coffee with; they can not replace 'real people' and the interaction of them and the physical objects such as reading a hard copy of a book-if you can. Nor can email replace the joy of receiving real 'snail mail' in the mail box; the joy of hearing a friendly voice on the telephone; or a personal visit from or to a friends. Sometimes 'we' have to find a way to bring 'joy' to another even when we don't feel joy at that moment; to receive 'our own joy inside'. As hard as it is...it is better to give than to receive. That includes the giving of 'us' when we are able; to become stronger inside. I don't always have that energy; but even the smallest effort and act leave a print on me and another. Remembering I am not alone in my struggles gives me encouragement to continue to fight the good fight. Pressing on.....
