Hi, I am new here, but I'm going to be spending a lot of my time on this board for a while. I don't want to go into my story tonight, but I did want to see if anyone on the board is really familar with USING KLONOPIN FOR ANXIETY AND ANAFRANIL FOR DEPRESSION. MY PROBLEM IS THAT I THINK I AM TAKING THE MEDICATIONS AT THE WRONG TIME BECAUSE I SHOULD BE DOING BETTER AGAINST MY DEPRESSION THAN I AM.
RIGHT NOW I AM TAKING 1MG OF KLONOPIN AT about 10 OCLOCK AT NIGHT AND 150MG OF ANAFRANIL about AN HOUR LATER. I WAS TAKING BOTH MEDICATIONS AT THE SAME TIME AT NIGHT, BUT I NOTICED THAT I WAS STAYING UP UNTIL about 4 OCLOCK BECAUSE I THINK ONE OF THE MEDICATIONS CAUSES ME TO BE MORE AWAKE. I KNOW ANAFRANIL IS SUPPOSED TO BE TAKEN AT NIGHT, BUT WHAT I THINK MAYBE GOING ON IS THAT I AM NOT GETTING THE BENEFITS FROM THE ANAFRANIL BECAUSE WHEN THE ANAFRANIL IS TAKEN WITH THE KLONOPIN, ONE OF THE MEDICATIONS DEGREE OF EFFECTIVENESS IS LESSENED BECAUSE THERE IS AN INTERACTION.
I'M WONDERING IF THERE IS A WAY MY PSYCHIATRIST COULD CHECK ONE OF MY BLOOD LEVELS DURING THE DAY TO SEE WHICH MEDICATION IS WORKING THE STRONGEST, WHEN I TAKE THEM BOTH TOGETHER. IN OTHER WORDS WHEN TAKEN TOGETHER IS THE ANAFRANIL OR THE KLONOPIN THE DRUG THAT IS THE STRONGEST IN MY SYSTEM? CAN MY PSYCH DO SOME KIND OF A TEST TO FIND OUT?
