I just had a liquid bowel movement which made a mess.

Other than that I am sitting here alone at home and feeling lonely and friendless. I do have friends but they all live in other cities. Part of the reason why I want to live in New Orleans after retirement is that I have a lot of friends there.

I know I'm not giving myself very good self talk about friendships. Also, I lived through the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco and lost many many friends over the years.

Hi Rich. Sorry to hear you're having such a rough day. I've been a bit melancholy too. I think this anniversary of 9/11 affects us all, whether we are aware of it or not. It brings to mind personal losses in a way that nothing else does.

It's good to hear you talk about your plans after retirement. Having something to look forward to is always helpful.

Hoping your tummy troubles end soon and that you have a better day tomorrow.

I hope your day has gotten better since you posted. I too have been having a hard time here and there lately. Maybe it is the change of season too. It effects a lot of people.

It's okay, sweetie. We are human, and humans make messes. It'd be great if we were perfect,but we aren't.

Friends do come and go, sometimes, as paths come together and then diverge through growing, moving, change, and even death. Why not go now? Life is short.

Be well,and light a candle for your friends.

Drink some black tea, help tighten you up.

Friends come and go. People are meant to part of lives, but not for ever I believe, except perhaps our spouses.
