Lynnwood, I was trying this for the last year, my pain level has made it not possible every day, depressing. SO,,,
I made a smaller goal that surprisingly showed progress. I now do standing push ups.
Stand about a foot from a wall, [arms length] feet spread shoulders wide, hands spread on wall should height. lean into wall full weight, using arms to hold, slowly lowering nose to wall, push back out.
I started at 5, now I am up to 40 at a time and my arms, upper body strength and even my stomach is showing improvement. I can feel it.
