Okay, so my mom takes escitalopram (lexapro) I have anxiety and depression so recently I have taken her pills (only when I need to) she has 10mg and 20mg pills. I've been taking the 20mg but I want to take 2 of the 20mg but I don't know what the side effects would be. Does anyone know? (I don't want advice on not taking it I just want to know the side effects of taking 40mg if there is any)

See a doctor and get your own. I can not comment on you taking your mother's pills. It isn't a good thing to do, we are all different and it could effect you differently. You should be under a doctor's care with this.
