Depression in a wheelchair

I am a person in a wheelchair ready to be kicked out of this thing whenever I can get out of this darn thing which I hope is soon. I have been sitting in this thing for an hour now. I never know when I can get dressed. I also don't know what is in store for the day. I hope I can be a little civil about all of this but it gets hard sometimes. I never know what we are going to do until that moment.Julie is so nice to me most of the time I know she gets impatient with me sometimes. I wish I could be like her sometimes and just take it easy like she does. She is after all my savior. I don't know what I would do without her. She takes care of my every need.
Today is my birthday. It doesn't seem like February already. I seem to be living in a fog. I don't even know what day of the week it is sometimes. I am embarrassed to not know, and feel stupid for asking. I did not even know it was my birthday until my daughter said something this morning. I could tell she knew that I did not know. Oh well, I guess she did not really care. She left for work this morning in kind of a rush like usual. She had to be at work at 10:00. I guess she just made it. My son on the other hand is so nice , always worrying about me. He is the center of my universe right now. I feel badly for him though because he does not have a girlfriend yet. I know he feels badly also wandering when am I going to get a girlfriend? He is so kind . I know when he finds someone he will fall in love. That is what I truly want for him. i wish him all the luck I could ever give him.....
