What I'm trying to say is:
We all know that feeling inadequate, having no purpose and similar feelings are symptoms of depression right?
Right!
So, can it not be possible that a person actually be inadequate and truly have no purpose without it being due to depression, rather based on fact?
Hypothetically.......
Let's just take some average man and some basics which may go something like this:
45-50 age group,
No wife, no GF,
Has a child, daughter maybe, but out of the house. Better yet, joined the military and moved away and absolutely independent.
Has a job, just doing his work, but could be gone tomorrow and nobody would notice.
Has no friends so he goes home until it's time to go to work.
Overall, he basically just exists without contributing anything good to his job, community and the people around him. In fact, he's just sucking up a job, a place to live, food and good oxygen that an animal could be using so it's more like a draw on society.
Now I ask you, Could it be possible that he's just facing the facts and even though it must be depressing to be this guy, it is not depression?
Seriously, he probably would know his self better than anyone so if he can admit that he has no value, then maybe he just has no value. Wouldn't he know better?
