I am sorry to hear of your stress and your depression.
A therapist can help, as can a psych doc (with meds.) Learning coping skills can go along way to developing some emotional equilibrium.
Kids say a lot of things. I wouldn't believe 95% of it. They get sad, frustrated, angry, and overwhelmed,like the rest of us. The problem is that they have a harder time expressing themselves,and have little experience of life. If we have trouble, imagine how they feel!! We all know where to hit those closest where it hurts. So,take what the kids say with a grain of salt. The important thing for you is YOU--you deserve to feel better.
