Medication brand change

Has anyone on here felt a change when they changed the brand of generic antidepressant? I recently moved and when I started taking citalopram at the new pharmacy, same dose, I started feeling depressed! Not sure what to do unless I call my old pharmacy and what brand they had, and find it in my new locations. Thank you. My anxiety and depression is pretty bad right now. I have no motivation to do anything. My thyroid could also be off. Going to get that tested this week.

When my Effexor went generic, I switched to pristiq.
The abilify went generic, I had to up my dose by double. I know generic and brand names have differences as much as they try to say that they don't.

I hope you can get what works for you. But you just may need an increase in dosage. Make sure you let the doctor know what is going on.
